Staff Application Package Summer 2008 Thank you for your interest in working at a Girl Scouts of Spar and Spindle camp this summer! Our staff are positive role models who are committed to making a difference in the lives of girls in the camp setting. Our camps are ACA Accredited and adhere to the highest standards of health and safety. Girl Scout camp is unique because counselors and program staff help girls plan their own program, based on their interests and abilities. If you are looking for a summer of working in the outdoors, leading diverse groups of girls in activities they help plan, Girl Scout camp needs staff like you! Here's everything you need to apply for a position at camp for the 2008 season. Just click on the appropriate form to access the word document. You can then print the document Application Form - you must fill out the application form completely. Reference Forms - your three reference forms can be given to past employers, supervisors, teachers, advisors, colleagues, etc, who should fill them out completely and return them to the Girl Scout Service Center. Certifications-In addition to the application form and reference forms, if you hold any certifications pertinent to working at camp please make a copy and submit them with your application. Examples of certifications are Lifeguard, First Aid/CPR, Water Safety Instructor, Nursing, or EMT. Return all your completed paperwork to:
Once completed applications are received, they are forwarded to the appropriate Camp Director. She completes your reference and employment background check. You are then contacted for an interview.
